MY WHY
This post is from my heart. I think it is important to know who i am if working together could be an option for you . . .
My Why
My why is for the people who never had a friend.
For the ones who learned early how to suffer in silence.
My why is for those who feel lost, unseen, or meaningless —
not because they are, but because no one ever reflected their worth back to them.
My why is for the people who destroy themselves just to cope with pain,
because no one taught them another way to survive.
My why is for those who were hurt by the very people they loved and trusted.
For those who carry abuse quietly, believing it is their fault.
My why is for the people who have stood at the edge of despair
and wondered whether continuing was worth the effort.
My why is for the outsiders.
For the children who were never given love.
For the adolescents broken down by impossible standards, comparison, and shame–before they ever had a chance to know who they were.
My why is for everyone who has faced adversity
and kept going anyway.
At its heart, my why is this:
to offer a moment of hope,
a spark of persistence,
a glimmer of a future that feels survivable — maybe even meaningful.
My why is to spread resilience, to uplift others,
and to remind people that their responses make sense in the context of what they have lived through.
And my why is for my own children —
to empower them in every phase of their lives,
to show them that compassion can have boundaries,
that integrity matters,
and that people are never disposable.
In many ways, my work is about healing every version of myself
that I see reflected in the people I serve.
This is why I do this work.
This is why I will always meet people where they are.
And this is why I believe healing happens — not when people are “fixed,”
——but when they are finally seen.
Thank you
To every person who has allowed me to be a part of their healing journey, I am honored, humbled, and inspired by each of you.
